Raising the Standards and Strenghtening the Conviction of the people is my law enforcement philosophy. Simply, our walk must match our talk; therefore, unity becomes an essential part of the equation for building a strong and powerful community. We must put action to our words; therefore, all of our efforts must work to unite people. We must get them to share their talent and work together to make their community a positive place to live.
My twenty five (25) years of experience working directly with the community has taught me that government cannot effectively solve individual or community problems. I believe that people must work together, if their community is to be a place of purpose and progress. Faith serves as an anchor of stability. Men of God must in order to please God, James 2:17-18 states, "even so faith if it has no work, is dead. But someone may say, you have faith and I have works; show me your faith without the works and I will show you my faith by my works."For a community to change, the individual's must change.
The Constable and his Deputies must be willing to serve and not be served. As Jesus said, he comes not to be served but to serve. Each individual must have in his or her own heart, not what the community can do for me, but what he or she can do for the community. The eyes of the world are upon law enforcement and we must be that light that sits on a hill that gives light to the community. We must be an agency that touches lives outside the walls of the agency. The vision I have for Precinct Three (3) Constable's Office is to be the best law enforcement agency ever in the history of Waller County.
